The TriColour Venture Fund:

In 2005 PARTEQ Innovations, in partnership with Queen's School of Business, established the TriColour Venture Fund.

About The TriColour Venture Fund:

Established in 2004, the TriColour Venture Fund is a joint initiative of PARTEQ Innovations and the Queen’s School of Business. This unique investment vehicle combines early stage investment funding with venture fund training of Queen’s Commerce and MBA students through the Queen’s Centre for Business Venturing. Students selected for this innovative program identify and evaluate investment opportunities, select investees and monitor investment decisions.

Currently the TriColour Fund will make equity and debt investments of $50,000 - $150,000, or up to 20 per cent of the total capital base of the fund, in any one business. All investments will be co-investments with an independent fund. However, up to $50,000 may be invested as a lead seed investment to demonstrate value in order to attract a follow-on investment.

The TriColour Fnd is managed by PARTEQ Innovations. Investment decisions are made by the TriColour Fund Investment Committee.

Current investees include:

Datec Coating Corp.

Pathogen Detection Systems, Inc.
