George Anderson appointed to board of Queen’s University’s
PARTEQ Innovations

KINGSTON, ON -- PARTEQ Innovations, the technology transfer organization of Queen’s University, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. George Anderson to its board of directors.
Mr. Anderson is President of the Forum of Federations, a non-profit, international organization that fosters best practices in countries with federal systems of government. Previously he pursued an illustrious career in the Canadian civil service, serving as Deputy Minister of Natural Resources Canada (2002-2005) and Deputy Minister (Intergovernmental Affairs) in the Privy Council Office (1996-2002). He also filled Assistant Deputy Minister level positions in the departments of Energy, Finance and Foreign Affairs. From 2004-05 he was Commissioner of the Northern Pipeline Agency
A graduate of Queen’s University (BA) and Oxford University (MLitt), Mr. Anderson also holds a Diplome from Ecole nationale d’administration, Paris. From 1992-93 he was a Fellow at the Centre for International Affairs, Harvard University. He has been a trustee of Queen’s University since 1998.

Mr. Anderson will serve a three-year term on the board, which is chaired by Dr. Kerry Rowe, Vice-Principal (Research) of Queen’s University.
