Direct investments are aimed at investors who wish to play a more active role and to make an investment decision on a deal-by-deal basis. The Network will provide the investor with an investor package detailing the screened investment opportunity as deals arise. The Network will coordinate the investment made by the pooled fund and the individual investors. Any investment opportunity screened by PARTEQ will also be presented to the Network members who have expressed interest in the technology sector of the potential investee. In most situations, the member will be presented with a pre-negotiated term-sheet, the investee’s business plan, an analysis by PARTEQ, a unit subscription agreement, and if evaluated by the Investment Committee, the opinion and comments of the Investment Committee. There may or may not be a co-investment made by the pooled fund.
